Kitchen Supervisor

Berry Recruitment are currently seeking a Kitchen Supervisor for our client based in Bedford.

Role Overview:
As a Kitchen Supervisor, you'll oversee day-to-day activities of kitchen staff, ensuring food service exceeds expectations while meeting production and waste targets.

Hourly Rate: £12 per hour
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8am-4pm) - Occasional weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate kitchen staff.
• Manage stock and food orders efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Supervise kitchen porters and ensure targets are met.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the chef for smooth operations.
• Handle financial responsibilities within the kitchen.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Enhanced DBS certificate required.
• Financial management experience desirable.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in cookery desirable.
• Basic or Intermediate food hygiene Level 2 or 3 desirable.
