Kitchen Porter

My client based in Whitby is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

Experience of a similar role in hospitality would be preferred, but not essential.

Due to the nature of the site, all successful candidates will be subject to a daily breathalyser test prior to each shift. Failure to pass at any point will result in you being removed from the assignment

Duties will include:

• Carrying out all dishwashing duties in a busy kitchen environment
• Using correct cleaning techniques on countertops, walls and sinks
• Ensure front of house and back of house are kept clean and tidy
• Basic food preparation as and when required
• Assisting with daily and weekly deep cleans
• Assisting with deliveries and organising within the storage areas
• Removal of waste and disposing in correct external bins
• Other duties as and when required

Rate: £11ph

Hours: Mon-Fri, 42.5hrs pw

Shifts: Ranging between 5:30am-9:30pm
