Simon Acres Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a forward thinking established company based in Yorkshire, to find a Kitchen Designer.

Paying:£32,216

Annual Leave: 32 Days incl. Bank Holidays & Christmas Shutdown

Rotating Shifts: Mon-Thurs 8.45 am - 5 pm, Friday 8.45 am - 4 pm. Mon - Thurs 8.00 am - 4.15 pm, Friday 8 am - 3.15 pm

The Role:

  • Responsible for producing designs and estimates for developers from client’s own brief and architects’ drawings
  • Liaising with Developers and the sales team in a professional manner to fully understand customer requirements
  • Producing accurate designs and estimates for kitchen layouts using Articad and SAP systems
  • Preparing completed designs/estimates into a tender presentation
  • Working to the Developers brief and achieving specified deadlines
  • Scaling from Architects drawings supplied by the Developer
  • Establishing installation budget and planning within contract guidelines
  • Adhering to internal systems and procedures
  • Achieving a set volume of drawings required each week to meet individual performance targets
  • Flexibility is required to ensure tenders are issued back to Developers within agreed timescales

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experienced in designing kitchens
  • Knowledge of ArtiCAD software (desirable)
  • Knowledge of SAP and Photoshop (advantageous)
  • Ability to work/transfer from scaled drawings essential.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc) or similar.
  • Must possess ability to work accurately on own initiative and to tight deadlines.
  • UK driving Licence
