Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a well-established, award winning independent kitchen retailer based in Kent, who are looking for a Trade Kitchen Designer.

Offering a salary of £28,000, plus uncapped commission (£40k OTE).

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm. No weekend work.

The Role:

  • Attracting and developing new and existing trade business.
  • Designing stunning kitchens and bedrooms for new and existing trading partners and their clients.
  • Presenting designs in an award-winning showroom.
  • Selling bespoke, handmade furniture.
  • Overseeing kitchen projects from inception through to sale.
  • Working alongside the Showroom Manager to ensure specification is precise.
  • Boosting client base, maintaining relationships, and providing an unparalleled service.
  • Conducting on-site visits and measurements.
  • Meeting and exceeding KPI’s.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Highly competent and experienced kitchen designer with impressive sales figures.
  • Knowledge of CAD software (2020 Fusion preferred but not essential).
  • Friendly, engaging, and confident in both team settings and individual pursuits.
  • Excellent sales acumen.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong communication and time management skills.
  • Proven track record in kitchen design and able to provide examples of own design work as well as sales figures.
