Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Management/Supervisory experience within Social Work teams
  • Fostering, SGO and/or Kinship experience and knowledge

NonStop's client, a Local Authority in South East London, is looking for Team Manager who can quality assure and monitor the viability assessments, private fostering assessments, special guardian assessments and connected persons assessments undertaken.

The role includes:

* Contribute to developing and be responsible for delivering effective new Kinship service

* Support development of a new Kinship Team

* Manage 6 Children Social Workers and 2 Social Work Assistants

* Be accountable for the performance of the quality and effectiveness of the team's performance as measured by national and local performance indicators.

* Meet improvement targets set through the timely effective implementation of improvement actions.

* Develop policies and procedures and allocate the work development and improvement strategies within the service.
