This is a wonderful and welcoming one-form entry school in Banbury, Oxfordshire. It is easily accessible by public transport and seeking to appoint a qualified Primary teacher from April 2024. Responsibilities of a KS2 teacher:

• As a KS2 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
• Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
• Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
• Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
• Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

KS2 Teacher requirements:

• QTS, PGCE and strong academic record
• Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitioner
• Passionate about learning
• Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a KS2 environment
• Able to communicate your passion to children and parents
• Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom
