We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Primary School Teacher. The role is to cover the absence of school teaching staff, which could be on a day-to-day basis or short term and long term. Day-to-Day Lesson plans, class work, seating plans will all be prepared for you on arrival and your role will be to lead the class through the work that has been set whilst maintaining a good standard of behaviour. For more Long-Term roles there will be a requirement to plan engaging lessons that follow the national curriculum and school's ethos. This role is ideal for someone who possesses a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of young people and is enthusiastic about working in the education sector. Candidates must demonstrate a genuine interest in education and a willingness to learn and develop their skills.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects within the primary school curriculum.
* Support students with their learning, providing guidance and encouragement as they progress academically.
* Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to create engaging and interactive learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance with their studies.
* Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources, including classroom displays and educational aids.
* Uphold school policies and procedures, promoting positive behaviour and maintaining discipline within the classroom.
Candidates will be required to have the following:
* Experience across key stage 2
* Relevant teaching qualification
* Ability to plan, deliver and assess lessons
* Flexibility on available days
* A practical and engaging approach to teaching
