We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant for a full time role based at Primary School in the heart of Caerphilly. If you have prior experience working with children and are committed to supporting their learning journey, we would love to hear from you!

Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to Key Stage 1 students, assisting them with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering students' confidence, independence, and engagement.
  • Support students in developing essential skills such as reading, writing, numeracy, and problem-solving.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.

Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children, preferably in an educational or support capacity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Enhanced DBS Check (can be obtained through Academics Ltd).
  • Eligible to work in the UK
