Key Account Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic, purpose driven business that are now looking for a Key Account Manager to support their growth plans.

For this role we are seeking a talented and experienced Key Account Manager to oversee and maintain key client accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring client satisfaction.

This is 40 hours per week Monday – Friday, with a minimum of 3 days working in the Barnsley office.

The role:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients
  • Understand client needs and objectives and propose solutions to meet them
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling additional products/services
  • Monitor account performance and prepare regular reports for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise with clients in a timely and effective manner
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities

Skills & experience required:

  • Ideal applicants will have a proven track record in Account Management within the FMCG or distribution sectors
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with key clients
  • Organised and structured approach to successfully managing a growing client base
  • Use experience to find solutions to any challenges and take ownership of any queries
  • Wants to have a positive impact on customers, colleagues and community
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to meet with key clients
