Refreshingly, this role is a proper Regional Sales role. You'll have a territory, you'll have a customer base and you'll have a load of drive and desire to really succeed.  

Totally open on your market sector but sales experience is a must. For you, you'll be joining a distribution business. The leading (and I'm not just saying that) distributor of products into their industry. Print & Signage. Should you know a bit about print or signage then that would be great but if not, and you'd like an opportunity to walk into their biggest territory, then this is for you! 

With so many opportunities to progress in the business, it really is about you and what you want from your career. You could be like the General Manager of this International distribution business who started in sales and is now running the show or you could tangent off into other areas of the business. The world is your Oyster. 

What you do need though, is the desire to get the job done. You'll have the experience in the bag that you know the benefits hard graft brings, we firmly believe we can't teach you to want to do well in your job, everything else, yes but persistence, drive and ambition, that's got to come from you. That's what you'll need to be a great success here. 

As an External Key Account Manager your territory will pretty much live on the M62. Covering Wakefield, Bradford, Leeds, York, Hull, Middlesborough and Newcastle. Pretty expansive area which means lots of opportunities for you. 

Within your territory, you'll be tasked with evaluating your current customer base. Who's spending, what do they buy, what are you good at, what are you not good at and looking for an opportunity to grow and develop relationships through proper account management and new product and services introduction. There's more than enough for you to go at that's warm for you but if you will be expected to do new business prospecting too.

You'll be supported by the internal account management team who will do the day-to-day order-taking, processing and logistics. You'll be the Business Development Manager. You'll be out on the road, meeting, greeting, and developing your customer base. A real people person. Determined, driven, relentless but approachable, empathetic, and engaging. 

The plan is for you to sell products, services and new lines of products to the ever-growing client base. You'll have an industry focus on Print, Signage & Display so if you are from a print, signage or graphics business, then that would be great as you'll have the market knowledge and insight needed. Failing that, a similar sales role and an appreciation for the distribution of products.
