My client are a leader in the Bedding/Mattresses world and there is great potential to grow in this role and really make it your own.

This position involves the management of Key Accounts: Argos, Amazon, Wayfair, Very, Costco with a focus on sales and customer relationships, ensuring the fulfilment of clients' needs.

Description

The successful Key Account Manager will:

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key retail accounts including Wayfair, Very, Costco, Amazon and Argos
  • Review daily performance of activity and work with retailers' buying teams to provide business updates internally and externally
  • Negotiate deals and price changes, ensuring internal margin expectations are met
  • Lead product placement with key retailers
  • New Business Development including prospecting targets and developing launch packs

Profile

A successful Key Account Manager should have:

  • Commercially and customer focused to drive results to meet Sales targets across all accounts
  • Passionate about products and selling the benefits to the customer
  • Working knowledge of Amazon platform (preferred, not essential)
  • Fast learner and then make tasks into their way of working
  • Competent in managing Retail Accounts and meeting demands of UK Retailers
  • Strong Negotiating Skills
  • A desire to develop and grow with the needs of the business
  • Must be able to travel to the office in High Wycombe - flexible hours / 20 days to work from home / manager is very supportive!

Job Offer

For the successful Key Account Manager - Bedding Industry, on offer is:

  • Excellent Basic: 45,000 - £50,000 per annum
  • Office-based with flexible working hours + 20 days to work from home throughout the year.
  • Bonus Scheme
  • You will not be out on the road much for this particular role, as most prospecting/account management is done via online meetings.
