Position: Junior Workshop Engineer - Innovation and Operations

Full-Time: Mon - Fri
Hours: 40 hours per week
08.00 - 17.00
1 hour lunch break
2 * 15 min breaks

Salary: £TBC

• Design (CAD)
Other Job Functions:

• Workshop maintenance
• Stock Maintenance, Control & Distribution

Duties and responsibilities will vary from time to time and the candidate will be expected to perform other such tasks that are reasonably comparable. You will adhere to company Health & Safety polices at all times, following the company handbook and
maintaining a safe working environment to ensure work activities are safe.

Initial Role:
• Following growth over past few years, we are seeking a new Junior Workshop Engineer who wants to further their career and join our busy team.
• Reporting directly to the Workshop Engineer.
• Working in conjunction and effectively with the existing engineering team
• Design and produce a variety of mechanical parts and accessories using CAD software
• Mechanical & Electrical involvement with the maintenance and build of Fuji Flow Wrappers
• Support to the Spares Co-Ordinator with the continued running of the spares department, including: order acknowledgement, placement and shipping

Role Advancement:
• Responsible for delivering technical support to customers, including telephone assistance.
• Opportunity to move into Field Service Engineers role.

Candidate Profile:
• You will be a driven, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual
• Excellent communication skills, you will be confident dealing with various levels of person
• A team player with good attention to detail
• You will have a minimum of 1 year of engineering experience
• CAD software skills
• Electrical and / or Mechanical engineering skills
• Experience with capital equipment will be advantageous
• Competent with MS Office (Word & Excel)
