Your day as a Junior Shopper Marketing Manager could involve:
  • Dive deep into understanding each retailer's unique strategy and brainstorm ways to form impactful partnerships to drive mutual success.
  • Craft and execute annual media plans for top-tier retailers like Morrisons, Boots, Waitrose, and Ocado, infusing these plans with strategic creativity!
  • Seamlessly synchronise plans with the retailer event calendar to amplify footfall and drive towards their category vision metrics.
  • Ensure that every shopper activation resonates with their overarching shopper strategy, aimed at clinching those crucial buying decisions.
  • Skilfully integrate media negotiations into the overall commercial agreements to secure savings and maximize our impact.
  • Keep a keen eye on budget management, meticulously tracking spend, processing POs, and handling invoices promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with your team to ensure the online presence aligns perfectly with optimised imagery guidelines and agreed product descriptions.
  • Lead the charge in identifying and implementing ecommerce best practices and future opportunities alongside the deals and category teams.
  • Drive the development of top NPD launches by working closely with the Shopper Marketing Team, Product, and Brand teams.
  • Inspire their agency partners and communications team to always keep the brand's shopper in mind while strategising and executing campaigns.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching, recommending, and sharing new in-store and retailer media developments and ideas to elevate the brand’s presence both in-store and online.
  • Embrace and embody the unique essence of the brand, acting as a passionate brand ambassador and ensuring that the brand shines brightly in every interaction. You’ll bring the magic of this brand to life in every aspect of your work!
What you’ll need:
  • Prior experience in shopper marketing coupled with a solid grasp of the intricacies of the UK retail landscape.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and top-notch organisational abilities are non-negotiable.
