An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Process Technician to join our thriving UK Medical Device Manufacturing Company to work within our Process Engineering Department.

We are looking to recruit a Junior Process Technician who will be assisting in the development, implementation, improvement and validation of manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to write trial and testing protocols, reports, and prepare project plans. They should possess good attention to detail and be eager to learn more advanced manufacturing techniques and engineering principles.

The candidate will be exposed to various manufacturing processes (injection moulding, extrusion, ultrasonic welding, manual and automated assembly, packing, in-process testing, lab testing) and measurement equipment.

Desirable Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing, production, validation of processes and equipment
  • Understanding of working with measurement instruments
  • Experience in office administration, project updates
  • Able to create work instruction for new processes and review them for existing ones
  • Able to train members of production staff to new procedures

Hours of Work

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday
