Junior Process QA Technician

Our client is a well-established chemical manufacturer and supplier who is seeking to recruit a self-motivated junior process QA Technician to work within their QA department.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Participating in the internal audit programme and performing quality checks. Auditing logbooks used in the operation areas for completeness and cGMP compliance.
  • Performing QA inspections and submitting documentation for batch release.
  • Performing non-routine sampling and testing of products/materials, as applicable.
  • Performing pre-shipment checks, as requested by QA Manager
  • Verifying information on labels and placing secure tags on labels. Issuing labels checked prior to packaging the product.

The QA Technician is expected to have HND or BTEC qualification in Scientific discipline or related with at least one year experience within packaging or related environment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-to-one and small group situations to employees of the organization.
  • Ability to write routine reports.
  • Ability to understand FDA cGMP requirements for pharmaceutical and healthcare or related industries.
  • Ability to use laboratory equipment, including balances and scales as well as competence in use of Microsoft Office Suite and Access.
