Junior Management Accountant

My client, a consultancy based in Soho, is seeking to hire a Junior Management Accountant to join their small but busy team.

This role will give exposure to AP, AR, month-end, management accounts, accruals & prepayments, bank reconciliations, and more.

This is a permanent role, with 4-days a week in office and 1 day WFH.

My client, a professional services firm based in Soho, is seeking a motivated and driven Junior Management Accountant to join their small-scale company. As a Junior Management Accountant, you will be working directly under the Finance Director, gaining valuable exposure to various aspects of accounting and finance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to kick-start their career as a Management Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Supporting the preparation of management accounts, including financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Assisting with accruals and prepayments, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Assisting with month and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.

Requirements:

• Prior experience or internships in finance or accounting would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Sage 50 would be a significant advantage.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development.
