Junior Management Accountant | Live Music and Events Business | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with one of the most exciting, fast growth live music and events businesses in the UK, in the search for a Junior Management Accountant.

The Business:

Since inception under 10 years ago, this non corporate company have grown from strength to strength, promoting music in over 200 large scale concerts and events across the UK to audiences of over 2 million music fans. Due to the success of the business, extremely successful relationships with various different ventures have been established, with a client base of some of the leading names in the music industry.

The organisation is extremely values led, with a strong sociable and family orientated vibe, centred around a love of live music. The company cultivate an ethos of development and progression, with a fantastic opportunity to grow alongside the business over the coming years in a growing finance department. The role will be reporting into and working closely alongside the Finance Director, highlighting the great exposure to senior level management, helping to facilitate the scaling of the business.

The Role:

The Junior Management Accountant role, which offers study support alongside a flexible hybrid working approach, will be the second member of the finance team, offering fantastic autonomy in the successful candidates work, and an opportunity to have a real influence on the financial success of the business.

The Duties:

  • Manage the sales and purchase ledger and prepare weekly payment runs
  • Raise Purchase Orders, reconciling and ensuring costs are allocated to each events P&L
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Manage audit process

  • Ability to understand and interpret sets of accounts
  • A love of live music!

  • Desire for development and progression

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + study support

Location: London
