Fantastic career progression opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join an award-winning manufacturing company in Heathfield, whose products can be seen on shelves and in hospitality venues throughout the world. Paying £25,000 a year, you will enjoy great benefits including paid lunch break, staff discount, a day off for your birthday, Christmas off and enrolment into the health and wellbeing programme.

Working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, as the Maintenance Engineer you will have experience of electrical and mechanical manufacturing machine maintenance.

The Maintenance Engineer will be:

  • Shadowing the Production Manager to learn the intricacies of production machine maintenance.
  • Carrying out regular inspections on production machinery and equipment to identify potential faults or areas for improvement.
  • Helping to coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring machine breakdown times are minimal to ensure continued production.
  • Keeping records of all maintenance activities.

You will have previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment and be proficient in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively. If you have a Forklift Truck Licence, this will be an advantage.
