Our well established client are looking for a bright person to join the firm's accounts department as Accounts Administrator/Junior Legal Cashier.

The Accounts Administrator/Jnr Legal Cashier’s role is to support the Accounts Department in ensuring the prompt and efficient processing of all transactions in accordance with internal control(s), the SRA Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Firm’s current AML Policy.

This will require contact/liaison with internal and external sources throughout the day. Previous experience an advantage, but training will be given. The role would suit an individual seeking a career path in Legal Accounting and offers a training package (details available on request).

Essential qualities
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word
• Minimum GCSE level qualification
• Excellent organisational skills

• Focuses on detail, methodical, organised, systematic
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to prioritise workload and deal with interruptions
• Returns client calls and maintains appropriate client contact for excellent customer service

The following attributes are desirable but not essential:
• People management experience
• Working knowledge of SOS accounting system and Visualfiles (Training will be provided)
• Working knowledge of Barclays.net online banking system (Training will be provided)
• Ability to adapt and respond to changes
• Shows initiative
• Ability to oversee team members work/provide support when required, especially with regard
to the SAR’s
