My Client, a leading supplier of apparel to the leading high street and supermarket and online retailers, working with factories in Turkey, China, India and Bangladesh now has an excellent opportunity for a Junior Garment Technologist to join their team in South Manchester.

Duties of the job will include the following:

Responsibility of working with a number of retailers - aiming for a right first time approach.
Creating workbooks /specs for costings and buying samples
Requesting of sealing samples and initial patterns, from offshore manufacturers. Measuring and checking of garments, internal approvals where necessary samples fitted with retailers in person or over VC and sending comments out to the factories.
Working closely with the factories to ensure that the product meets Retailer and Legal requirements.
Administration of the critical path
Submission of final production samples and relevant documentation.
Creating print pattern on Optitex for the design team to set up print packs.


My Client is seeking a team player with good communication skills who can work well with retailers and manufacturers. You will be highly organised and have excellent communication skills.

They are open to both graduates with a relevant degree and junior candidates seeking the next step in their career.
