Birmingham / Remote (National Travel, Predominantly between the Midlands & South)

£28,000 - £32,000 (OTE Yr1 £40,000 - £45,000) + training + development + progression + commission + car allowance £5k or EV car scheme

Do you have any sales experience, looking to rapidly advance your career into a newly created role, for a highly successful manufacturer of technical paints and coatings which has been established for over 100 years, with uncapped commission and the potential for excellent progression into numerous roles?

Are you looking to expand your skills and knowledge in a technical sales role, where you will focus on new business opportunities, as well as growing existing accounts, through consultative sales techniques, where you will be provided with full product / technical training, as well as sales training to ensure you can reach your full potential?

The company are known globally for their technically advanced products, supplying across Aerospace, Defence and Automotive markets. You will be representing specific line of products, expanding reach across building & construction markets. Once trained, you will operate in an autonomous role, travelling to clients across the country and managing your own diary, with support and mentorship from the UK Sales Manager.

The role:

• Full technical product training in Birmingham, followed by external sales training
• Plan your diary, working from home 1 day a week to book in meetings, and create leads
• Travelling to existing and potential clients across the country, predominantly between the Midlands and South
• 70% focus on new business, 30% focus on growing existing accounts
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions and networking events
• Develop relationships with current and new distributors, from Head office level, to branches and independent retailers
• Provide product training for clients

The person:

• Any field sales experience, or similar
• Ideally some experience selling to builders merchants, although this is not essential
• Based somewhere between the Midlands & South
• Full UK Driving License
• Happy with regular National travel
