Junior Estimator

Our client offers a wide range of services from Multi-Storey and Basement Car Park Coatings, Industrial Screed and Resin as well as Structural Waterproofing, and Structural Grouting. Our primary focus is on securing repeat business; we do this by delivering the highest level of quality in all our projects.

Due to an increase in project and tenders, they are no looking to expand their busy office with a Junior Estimator (In-house training provided) with an excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn.

(Junior Estimator) - Position Overview

• Preparation and submission of full pricing documents and quotations to clients. * Ensuring enquiry, tender & pricing opportunities are processed efficiently in line with company policies and procedures.
  
• Effective communication with clients and suppliers to ensure tenders are issued accurately received in time and presented with the best chance of securing the contract works for the company. * Ensuring full system compliance when compiling tenders and effective data management.
  
• Be aware of efficient stock management and its commercial benefit to the company and pricing opportunities.
  
• Assisting in, and having an awareness of, contract budgets. * Where required (e.g., holiday cover) offering general assistance to the contracts process e.g., assisting in arranging plant & materials.
  
• Engaging in the sales process to ensure estimates become secured contracts by maintaining an active involvement and awareness of works priced and ongoing status of the sales process. This will involve contacting clients to update status or enquiries and quotations submitted.
  
• Take an active role in working with the Sales Team. To include liaising with clients, developing relationships and helping to ensure and secure contract orders.
  
• Carry out site visits where required to assess, measure and general gain all information required to prepare accurate quotations for submission to clients.

(Junior Estimator) - Position Requirements

• Experience within the Flooring/ Construction industry is preferable.
• 9 GCSE's is preferable but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
  

(Junior Estimator) - Position Remuneration

£22,000 - £24,000 D.O.E

In-house Training

Monday to Friday - Office based.
