Junior Design Engineer | £25-30k | Oxford | On-site

My client is a world-leading company in their niche manufacturing and designing audio technology. They are looking for a junior or graduate electromechanical design engineer to join their world-class team.

Main duties:

+ Create, define, and build test solutions for production processes.

+ Design functional test solutions using electronics and mechanics.

+ Participate actively in product validation by modifying prototype PCBs and related subassemblies.

+ Troubleshoot design and build issues, assist with general R&D duties and obsolescence management, and support subcontractors and production teams.

Skills and Experience Required:

+ Bachelors in music Tech, or Electronics with extracurricular audio projects

+ Experience with programming languages C, C#, or VB

+ PCB rework, wiring, looming, and layout experience (CAD)

+ Experience with mechanical, metal work fabrication, and hand tools

Bonus:

+ Previous electronic manufacture and design experience

+ Experience with single board development like Raspberry Pi or Arduino
