Do you hold an Electrical Engineering qualification and are looking to rapidly kickstart your career as an Electrical Estimator with a supportive company that can offer you full support in your development while gaining access to practical experience?

This company has been designing and manufacturing HV/LV packages and Control Gear for the last 30 years for clients across the UK. They're going through a sustainable growth period where they are looking to bring on junior members of the team and give them a platform to grow their skillset.

In this role you will be undertaking training in electrical estimation, carrying out tasks to support in preparing detailed quotations for customer drawings, and monitoring existing projects to ensure costs are kept in line.

While no prior hands-on experience is required for this position, the ideal candidate will need to hold either a HNC/HND level qualification or a Degree in Electrical Engineering and importantly will be highly motivated to develop their skillset in an entry-level role.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build upon the knowledge already gained in their studies and is now at the stage where they are looking to quickly develop their practical experience by gaining specialist industry training on high-value and complex equipment with a company that is willing to invest in them.

The Role:

• Provide tendering support for Senior members of staff
• Prepare quotations from customer drawings
• Help ensure current project costs are kept inline

The Person

• HND, HND or Degree-level qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline
• Looking to gain industry training
• Appetite for learning and self-development
• Experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks is desirable
