Entry Level Lab Administrator

Join this highly ambitious, leading provider of testing services, as a Lab Administrator in Slough.

This role is ona late shift the core hours being Monday to Friday4pm-12am.

The Lab Administrator will be responsible for allocating the work for the laboratory from information supplied by its clients to the laboratory's information management systems. This will involve ensuring that data is transcribed accurately and any anomalies between samples and documentation are resolved before the samples reach testing.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure all samples received in the laboratory are correctly recorded
  • Allocate testing to specified client requirements within the appropriate time frame through the use of the crm system
  • Assist in maintaining the laboratory accreditation

Skills Required

  • A level or equivalent, educated or have appropriate Laboratory / data entry / scheduling / sample programming experience.
  • Excellent IT skills with a high level of accuracy along with an eye for detail
  • To have excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • To be able to work within set targets and goals, and be able to manage expectations
  • To be able to work well in a team, with a reliable, open, honest and approachable character
