Administrator

Location: Bristol

Position Type: Full-time, Hybrid

As an Administrator, you will help support the day to day running of our consultancy, providing support to the Business Manager to ensure the smooth running of the business through a diverse range of activities across different disciplines.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintaining all company insurances and accreditations, preparing for internal and external audits, and maintaining all records and evidence
  • Maintaining our company offices, maintaining office supplies, and ensuring the right processes and procedures are always in place
  • Supporting our financial business processes such as invoicing clients, paying suppliers and monthly payroll
  • Supporting our social media activity, managing the content planning, liaising with content authors, and posting and interacting with content via LinkedIn
  • Administering our intranet and SharePoint sites to ensure they provide the information our members need
  • Supporting broader business processes including supplier management
  • Assisting in HR functions such as onboarding, maintaining employee records, and managing time and attendance
  • Scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and arranging conferences and events

Experience you’ll need

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues
  • Ability to work with a team, take direction from others and collaborate effectively
  • Confident handling sensitive information with discretion, maintaining confidentiality

Essential Requirements

  • UK resident and right to work with (or ability to attain) SC vetting status (or higher)
  • Willingness to travel to our offices (Emersons Green and central Bristol)
  • IT literate with good typing skills and confident using a range of programmes including email, word processors, presentations, and spreadsheets

Entry Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
