Junior Accountant Position Overview

Bookkeeping and Recordkeeping:

Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for clients, including recording transactions, reconciling bank statements, and updating general ledgers.

Prepare and process journal entries, adjustments, and accruals to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data

Tax compliance and VAT returns

Assist in preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

Support senior staff members in conducting tax research, resolving tax issues, and responding to tax notices or inquiries.

Client Support:

Collaborate with senior team members to provide support to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional client service.

Assist in preparing client correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.

Payroll

Assisting and working on payroll functions

Junior Accountant Position Requirements

• No qualifications are essential, but ATT or studying for a qualification is preferred
• Experience working in Sage, Xero, and Quickbooks is preferred but not essential
• At least 1-2 years is essential

Junior Accountant Position Remuneration

• £25k - £28.5k
