We are recruiting a professional sales individual within the building supplies sector. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a real name for yourself within the company, and be responsible for the success of a department which can be aided by the existence of an already vast customer base which can be used whenever needed. This company also deals with a wide range of 'timber buying people'. This goes from National House builders and developers all the way down to small joinery firms and everything in between.

The role will specialise in doors, door frames, door mounting kits and door furniture. They supply doors of all kinds and a massive range of accessories will be available from this department. New doors are an ever popular way of easily modernising a home and the demand is consistantly strong.

You should have a sales background within the construction supplies sector and ideally knowledge relating to doors and related products. Any additional previous experience with hardwoods, timber, joinery or sheet materials would be a definite advantage but may not be considered essential.

We would be very keen to hear from you if you have proven sales experience in timber and timber associated products: doors, timber flooring, sheet materials, carcassing, joinery, trusses, engineered wood, decorative panels, laminating, skirting, door jambs, panel products, specialist softwood, hardwoods etc.

This role will require someone outgoing and confident who will be able to win new business for the company and maintain strong existong relationships too.

• Do you have experience selling into the construction sector?
• Experience in a Business Development role?
• Building materials, timber, builders merchants experience, hardwood, joinery experience.
• Strong sales drive, ambitious and motivated?

You will have proven construction supplies / building materials or timber products knowledge, strong sales ability and margin awareness.
