Role Overview: As our Drama Teacher, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the artistic journey of our students. From exploring Shakespearean classics to devising original plays, you’ll guide them through the exciting world of drama. Whether it’s mastering monologues, perfecting stage presence, or collaborating on ensemble pieces, you’ll foster a love for storytelling and self-expression.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery: Design and deliver engaging drama lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
Performance Prep: Prepare students for captivating stage productions, from auditions to curtain calls.
Theatre Techniques: Teach acting techniques, voice modulation, movement, and improvisation.
Creativity Unleashed: Encourage students to explore their artistic voices and think outside the proscenium arch.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across disciplines to integrate drama into the broader curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or related field (master’s preferred).
- Teaching certification (QTS or equivalent).
- Passion for nurturing young talent and fostering a love for theatre.
- Experience in directing school productions or youth theatre groups.
