You will be joining an IT sales & account management team of 2, which forms part of a 20 person strong IT service provider.

The Inside Sales Exec / Sales Support Exec will be account managing & upselling IT products, services and hardware to the existing client base.

Flexible working options available. Ideally you’ll be local to Portsmouth and able to travel to the office on a regular based, but not full time (circa 50% of the time).

Working for an IT Consultancy + Managed Service Provider

£30,000 - £37,500

The Company and Role:

Working with a growing company who are a specialist IT Consultancy and Managed Service Provider, the IT Inside Sales Exec / Sales Support Exec will be working in the Commercial Division and will be pivotal to the ongoing growth for the business through the selling of specialist Microsoft cloud services, support and solutions to their existing customer base. There will be no new business development sales to new customers.

This will mostly consist of discussing and arranging Microsoft Licencing and pricing and selling IT hardware, including new laptops and equipment for customers. You will be nurturing existing customer relationships, spotting upselling opportunities and working with the Director to identify leads and close deals. There will be opportunities to support the Director on larger projects and services.

The cloud solutions offering covers Microsoft Office 365, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Exchange Online, Cyber Security, networking, server and workstations as well as Managed Support Services. This role would suit someone who comes from an IT sales background - ideally consultancy or Managed Service Provider, who is an expert in building relationships and trusted partnerships with customers, to understand their challenges and pain points in order to commute technology solutions back to the customer.

Required Skills:

- Strong, proven IT sales background

- Ideally previous experience within IT Consultancy / Microsoft Partner / Managed Service Provider

- Ideally good previous experience of selling/account managing Microsoft cloud solutions and managed services

- Good understanding of Office 365 services & plans

- Excellent communication & stakeholder management experience

This position would suit an Inside Sales Exec / Sales Support Exec / Sales Administrator / Account Exec / Sales Support Coordinator / IT Account Manager / Sales Account Manager / IT Sales Exec / Sales Executive, who has strong experience of IT sales, ideally selling Microsoft Cloud Services, Solutions and Managed Support Services to external clients.

This IT Inside Sales Exec / Sales Support position is looking to start ASAP, will be home based / based near Portsmouth. This role will be paying from £30,000 - £37,500 basic depending upon background and experience
