IP Associate Solicitor
Our client, a leading law firm located in the heart of London, is currently on the search for a talented Intellectual Property (IP) Associate. This prestigious firm boasts a rich history of excellence in the legal sector and is known for its innovative approach to IP law. It is inviting applications from dynamic individuals who are Newly Qualified (NQ) up to 4 years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE), possessing a genuine passion for both contentious and non-contentious IP matters.

The successful candidate will be involved in a broad spectrum of IP-related work, including but not limited to, advising on copyright, patents, trademarks, and design rights. This role promises a rich variety of high-profile cases, providing the perfect platform for professional growth and development.
Requirements:
- Non-contentious IP experience is desired
- An in-depth knowledge of UK and EU trademark law, design right law, patent law, copyright law, and breach of confidence
- Experience acting in cases at all levels of courts in England & Wales and at the UKIPO
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, including by way of supervising, training, and working with junior members of staff, and reporting to a supervising partner
- The ability to work independently and progress cases with minimal supervision, including undertaking both client and matter management
- The ability to work to client objectives and maintain client relationships
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Solicitor in the UK, NQ- years’ PQE, with a strong academic background
- Demonstrable experience in handling both contentious and non-contentious IP matters
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- A proactive and innovative thinker with a commitment to legal excellence
- A team player with the ability to also work independently in a fast-paced environment
