Role summary
The role holder will provide end-to-end operational support to the Investment Manager’s pooled funds and segregated mandates, as well as funds from other areas of the Group as may be required.
Key responsibilities & accountabilities

  • Deliver day to day tasks including but not limited to:
  • Liaising with traders and third-party providers in the booking, matching and settlement of equity and FX trades. Supporting or managing the timely resolution of trade queries.
  • Monitoring daily cash balances, projections, and FX hedges: generating and calculating FX trades/hedges.
  • Monitoring daily NAV valuations, performance, investor flows, monthly reconciliation of segregated accounts and pooled funds.
  • Liaising with portfolio managers for processing and instructing corporate actions and proxy voting.
  • Maintaining security, portfolio, and index data.
  • Liaise with all internal departments and external service providers to ensure all queries are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Operational set up for new fund/account launches including transitions and market openings.
  • Support the Head of Operations and as required, including but not limited to:
    • Resolution of incidents and problems
    • Delivery of reporting to internal and external management and governance bodies.
    • Implementation and maintenance of internal operating procedures and controls.

Knowledge & experience

  • Two years’ experience of investment operations within an asset management firm or in the delivery of other relevant activities.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg AIM an advantage.

  • A self-starter with strong attention to detail. Ability to undertake daily and periodic tasks accurately and on a timely basis.
