Investment Banking Analyst

Investment Banking Analyst opportunity within a leading mid-market M&A Advisory specialist offering broad exposure to deals (£50m - £300m EV) and superb long term career progression.

A leading mid-market Investment Banking Team with an unrivalled track record in executing a wide range of deals including disposals, acquisitions, mergers, and providing PE, Financial Sponsors and Corporate clients with specialist strategic and financial advisory solutions.

THE OPPORTUNITY

An Investment Banking Analyst opportunity has arisen which offers full exposure to a wide range of deals and superb long term career progression. As an Analyst you will support in the execution of M&A transactions and Advisory engagements, taking responsibility for key aspects of deals including:

• Creating presentations, pitch books and other materials
• Building detailed financial models and performing valuation exercises (LBO, DCF etc) to support transactions
• Assisting in the identification and targeting of potential business opportunities
• Assisting in the management of client relationships
• Providing support to the team through the deal execution process

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious M&A / Corporate Finance Analyst or ACA Qualified Accountant seeking to build a career within mid-market Investment Banking.

THE PERSON

You will be a Corporate Finance Advisory professional able to demonstrate the following:

• ACA Qualified or CFA Level I / II
• Background & experience in either Top 4 Practice or Boutique M&A Practice / Investment Bank
• At least 2 - 3 years career experience overall
• Good communication and client relationship skills
• A strong desire to develop your career as far as Director / MD within M&A
