This firm are renowned for their truly global platform and boasts one of the largest and highest-rated disputes practices worldwide. They are currently in search of an esteemed Associate to join their growing practice based in London.

The Team

  • The global dispute resolution team tackles some of the most challenging, high-value, and multi-jurisdictional disputes and investigations in a collaborative "one team" environment.
  • Their award-winning Corporate Disputes and Investigations team is a cornerstone of the practice and has been identified as a key area for growth and investment.

More about the Role

  • Associates in this team have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of complex and stimulating work, including:
  • Conducting high-profile internal and external investigations, often spanning multiple jurisdictions, and collaborating with authorities such as the SFO, FCA, PRA, NCA, OFSI, and international counterparts.
  • Providing advisory services, due diligence, and implementing compliance programs related to bribery, corruption, sanctions, money laundering, human rights, and modern slavery.
  • Handling related civil disputes.

Given the nature of the work, Associates have the opportunity to collaborate across borders as part of a multinational, multidisciplinary team. They prioritize finding practical solutions and take pride in partnering with clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 3-6 years of PQE experience in corporate investigations and financial crime, preferably gained from a leading law firm.
  • Experience conducting internal investigations and liaising with government authorities such as the SFO, NCA, and FCA/PRA.
  • Sanctions experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Enthusiasm, strong academic credentials, and a commitment to developing technical skills and client relationships are essential.
  • Demonstrated client care skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are crucial.
