We are currently managing a fantastic opportunity developing business in Nordic markets for an award-winning and market-leading British manufacturer.

You will make a tangible, attributable and rewarding difference to a successful British exporter which is creating this role to meet the demand, and harness the potential, for their products in Sweden, Norway and the Baltic countries.

This is a newly created position for an internationally focused, British manufacturer of high-quality automotive products. Our client is proud of the fact that their products are made in the UK and sold to the world. More than 60% of the company turnover comes from outside the UK and the Nordic region is a priority for the business.

The International Sales Manager for Scandinavia and Baltic countries will be responsible for manging sales in the region, working from home in the UK and travelling regularly within the region. The position will suit someone located in England for whom regular travel into Scandinavia is agreeable.

The International Sales Manager for Scandinavia will be based remotely, anywhere in England, and will spend occasional days working from the office in the midlands and travelling to visit customers.

About the Company:

A successful, profitable and internationally focused manufacturing business that has been operating for 40 years.

A business which relies on international sales for 60% of turnover.

The business produces products that are sold on reputation, quality, reliability and brand as opposed to price.

The directors have created this position covering Scandinavia to meet the rising demand and significant potential for their products in Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

Our client is a firm believer in the transferable skill set possessed by international sales professionals so specific industry experience is not required. That said, interest in international business is a prerequisite.

The role will require regular international travel of course along with a culturally sensitive persona and a passion for business development.

Candidates who have experience of managing sales into Scandinavia, especially Sweden, will be of particular interest as will candidates who have an in-depth understanding of the region.

Salary/Benefits Information:

A package will be created to attract the preferred candidate. It is expected that a basic salary of £40,000 - £50,000 will be offered plus bonus and company car allowance.
