We are seeking an experienced technical support engineer or service engineer with a background in customer support to join our clients expanding support team in Chichester. The business is expanding and therefore they seek a graduate with 1 + years experience in a similar role, or an internal support engineer who has spent time working in a similar role but without the degree. It is however essential that the candidate is familiar and technically confident discussing all things electronics as this is a support role dealing with external customers and sales engineers. 

Create a strong technical sales/service function within support sales engineers with a focus on winning customers

Responsibilities

Responsible to support the Sales Engineers to win customers.
Responsible for strong local technical competency.
Responsible for support SE in technical matters.
Responsible for advising the correct technical solutions for customers and providing the best possible service in a timely manner.
Responsible for efficient and correct use of our CRM and Microsoft ERP systems in line with corporate guidelines.

Relationships and Roles

Internal / External Cooperation

Responsible/Assists for all internal procedures connected to customer orders and delivery.
Assists General Sales Manager with product launches.
Assists General Sales Manager in pro-active analysis of lost customers.
Assists General Sales Manager in marketing activities.

Job Specifications

Relevant experience in technical sales environment.
Experience of our CRM/ERP system.
Market and Customer oriented.
Willingness to be part of a global team.
Strong understanding of process and/or factory automation.
Fluent English and local language.
