Internal Sales

Our Client are a specialist haulage and logistics company based in Dunmow, Essex. We are looking to fill an internal sales position that has become available. Our Internal Sales Team act as the first point of contact with the customer. The role involves proactively building and maintaining both our existing customer base and developing new sales opportunities. It is therefore important that the candidate would be confident in this proactive phone setting.

The role involved providing customers with logistics solutions; including handling a mix of UK container transport requirements and import and export shipping requirements.

A telesales, strong customer service or a sales type background is important. Shipping experience is beneficial, however if a candidate does not have this, they will still be considered for the position. What is more important is that any candidate is confident in dealing with customers and cultivating client relationships, capitalising on commercial opportunities to achieve our sales targets.

As an indication on salary range, we would be looking at a basic of between £23,000 to £26,000 + bonus, depending upon experience. 

Hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00. However, they currently run a shift system for the team rotating through the following: 08:00-17:00, 08:30-17:30, and 09:00-18:00.
