Our client are a leading global multi-modal freight forwarder, e-commerce & parcel distribution company, with its head office based in Manchester. They are one of the UK's fastest-growing logistics and freight forwarding companies with offices in China, USA, Netherlands & UK (HQ).

Job Role
As an Internal Sales Manager you will lead our internal team of sales executives in sales efforts and ensure the achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the internal sales team ensuring they hit their targets and follow the business strategy.
- Work towards to achieving individual sales targets and KPIs and contribute to business goals.
- Resolve any issues escalated from within the team.
- Arrange and attend customer meetings as required.
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities.
- Answer customer questions, resolving concerns and providing any information.
- Provide regular feedback and undertake performance management activities.
- Develop new sales opportunities using outbound calls, emails, cold calls and lead follow ups.
- Produce sales reports as required.
- Research new leads.
- Remain aware of local sales, business, and marketing trend to identify opportunities in the area/sector.
- Document all activity on the Company CRM.

Skills and Requirements
- Experience within the Parcels, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, E-Commerce Industry
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience of supervising/managing a team
- Experience working with telephones and handling multiple calls and emails daily *desirable.
