Internal Sales Executive
  • Annual Salary: Competitive with performance-based incentives.

We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our client's dynamic team in Ipswich. This role encompasses both new business development and account management responsibilities, with the aim of achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets in line with profit margins. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and a proven track record in new business acquisition and customer retention.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets.
  • Maintain high daily activity based on set KPIs, including inbound/outbound calls, activities, opportunities, and quotes to order conversion.
  • Initiate and develop new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, emails, and lead follow-ups.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to identify sales opportunities across the organisation.
  • Promptly contact incoming leads and conduct follow-ups.
  • Manage daily account management tasks to ensure customer retention and growth.
  • Contact existing customers for repeat orders, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Maintain consistent standards of customer contact.
  • Answer customer questions and resolve concerns effectively.
  • Complete all required CRM processes and activities, including opportunities, quotes, activities, and tickets.
  • Stay informed about market competition.
  • Explain and demonstrate the functions and features of products and services.
  • Sell products in line with profit margin and pricing directives.
  • Support other team members as required.
  • Minimal business travel may be necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Two to three years of proven New Business/Account Management experience is desirable.
  • Understanding of the sales cycle and processes.
  • Driven, energetic, and enthusiastic with high integrity and ambition.
  • Proven team player with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Strong administrative and phone competency skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Google Sheets and Gmail knowledge is desirable.
  • Preferred experience with CRM systems.
