Internal Sales Executive

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Internal Sales person for well established Freight Forwarder based in the Sunbury on Thames area.

You will be in charge or your own destiny, if you can sell and enjoy selling then this job is for you.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cold Calling element to begin with and then to back fill pipeline - The cold calls can get tedious and so you must have a thick skin and a proactive attitude
• Be responsible for your own portfolio of customers
• Takes personal responsibility for career and development.
• Quoting your customers on a shipment by shipment basis.
• Build your CRM pipeline
• Client Visits as and when required
• Build up a rapport with your clients

Skills and Experience

• Ideally 2-3 years minimum within the shipping, freight forwarding and logistics industry but not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills - confidence a must
• Self-starter who thrives under pressure.
• Exposure to a CRM system but not essential as training will be given
