Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to an Internal Engineering Support professional on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Head Office in Wednesbury.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a sense of urgency, identify the needs of the customer and provide guidance on metalwork cutting tools product related searches.
• Using your hands on manufacturing engineering experience, make recommendations on product application suitability offering support on product selection.
• Where applicable, provide customers with machining advice for optimum performance including feeds and speeds and other technical information.
• Actively participate in understanding enquiries by phone/conference calls/email, ensuring high levels of communication throughout and identify solutions.
• Complete email enquiries in a timely manner offering pro-active solutions.
• Provide Pricing Guidance for sales opportunities exceeding £1000.00; educating on how decisions have been made, promoting associate decision-making development.
• Using your experience and knowledge, pro-actively identify the training needs of the internal associates and where applicable, design and deliver training sessions to enhance the customer’s experience.
• Working as a team, achieve all core service metrics, upholding the Customer Service Promise.
• Promote an “Easy to Do Business With” ethos by maintaining a positive can-do attitude on all internal and external transactions.
• Have a commercial awareness, of the industry, margin and product, share cross functionally to help improve/maintain customer experience across departments.
• Any other duties in line with business and departmental needs.
