Internal Communications Specialist

Deerfoot IT Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit an Internal Communications Specialist, and the hybrid role comes with an attractive contract rate of up to 350 per day, initially for 6 months.

As the Internal Communications Specialist, you will be part of the rapidly growing Hospitality Engineering division, who are responsible for the successful delivery of some of the largest and most critical components of Hospitality. This position is within the Hotel Product Platform group with the role to align, standardize, and improve the ways of communicating with their development teams.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive internal communication strategies, managing the group's branding, overseeing communication channels, and enhancing the overall internal image of the engineering team.

In your first few weeks in this Internal Communications Specialist role, you can expect to:

• Develop and implement effective internal communication plans aligned with the engineering group's goals and objectives
• Work with management to identify key messages, communication priorities, and target audiences
• Establish and maintain the branding identity for the Engineering group, and create visually appealing and cohesive branding elements
• Manage communication channels such as Viva Engage, SharePoint, and other internal platforms for our engineering group
• Develop content calendars and coordinate the timely distribution of internal communications

To apply for this Internal Communications Specialist role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. You will also require the following:

• Proven experience in internal communications, branding, and stakeholder engagement
• Previous experience in the IT industry

• Previous knowledge of Hotel will be a plus
