The role:
The purpose of this role will be to support effective and efficient provision of assurance to the supervisory board, the executive committee and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating internal audits, control assessments and risk projects across the group and to contribute to the development and evolution of the internal audit function.

The role:
The purpose of this role will be to support effective and efficient provision of assurance to the supervisory board, the executive committee and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating internal audits, control assessments and risk projects across the group and to contribute to the development and evolution of the internal audit function.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Planning internal audit reviews or projects across disparate geographical areas
- Supervising and supporting the work of guest auditors or consultants when required
- Presenting conclusions and findings to local management
- Agreeing improvement action plans with management and report the outcomes of audit reviews to management
- Supporting the development of medium term and annual internal audit plans for submission to the audit committee.
- Take ownership of practice management activities to support the continued, effective operation of the internal audit function.
- ICAS / ACCA Qualified with prior experience of leading and supervising a small project team
- Successful delivery of a range of internal or external audits
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Willingness to travel widely on short notice
- Up to 50k salary + 10% bonus
- Hybrid work model, 3 days office 2 days home
