Meraki Talent have been engaged to assist with the onboarding of an Internal Audit Senior for their Chartered Accountancy client in Glasgow.

The Company

Our client is one of Scotland’s leading and well-established Chartered Accountancy firms. They currently provide Accountancy services in the fields of Audit, Business Advisory, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning, Insolvency, Tax and Payroll. They now seek to add an Internal Audit Senior to their ever-growing Audit department.

The Role

This role would suit an individual already working as an Internal Audit Senior or an Internal Audit Assistant who is ready for the next step on their career path.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Effective planning of internal audit assignments.
  • Supervision and reviewal of junior team members’ work.
  • Acting as a Senior on internal audit assignments.
  • Demonstrated abilities to build and maintain new and existing relationships with clients through frequent liaison.
  • Taking ownership of all assignments from planning through to completion.

Experience

  • You must hold or be working towards an appropriate professional qualification, eg, ICAS, ACCA, CIIA, etc (or be qualified by experience).
  • Previous experience with proven record of working within Internal Audit.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and to deadlines.
