Job Title: Internal Accountant

Location: London

Contract Details: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year

Our client is a leading organisation in the accountancy industry, and they are currently seeking a qualified MAAT or Part/Fully qualified ACCA Accountant to join their growing team in their London office. They are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual who is eager to take ownership of their own client base while working collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties, and previous experience in these areas is required:

• Full accounts preparation and submission to Companies House and HMRC
• VAT knowledge
• Bookkeeping experience
• Payroll knowledge
• CIS knowledge
• Self-assessment preparation knowledge

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

• Previous experience working in an accountancy practise
• Proficiency in accountancy software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, TaxCalc, etc.

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

• Experience in managing and developing junior team members
• Ability to handle a client base independently

Technologies:

• Proficiency in accountancy software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, TaxCalc, etc.
