R13 Recruitment are working alongside an independent UK-wide business in their search for an Internal Account Manager to join their Norwich team. You will be a confident individual with previous account management/customer service experience, who isn’t frightened of negotiating and persuading to secure their business.

This is a full time, permanent position working 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. This role offers a salary of £30,000 plus OTE (50k).

The day to day

  • Dealing with incoming queries from existing and potential customers.
  • Actively engaging with allocated accounts and approaching new leads.
  • Negotiating payment terms with customers to improvement ROI.
  • Providing quotes to customers, following these up and sourcing material to satisfy these.
  • Raising purchase orders and ensuring these are progressed with suppliers.
  • Handling any customer complaints/issues that arise.

You will have/be

  • Previous account management/customer service experience.
  • Outstanding communications with the ability to negotiate and persuade.
  • Confident handling objections and complaints.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking attitude.
