Interior Landscape Technician

Operating for almost 50 years, our client is an established interior and exterior landscape business which following a sustained and exciting period of growth, are now looking for passionate candidates to join the friendly team. As a company they firmly believe that plants have a real and significant impact on people’s health, boosting productivity and creativity, as well as reducing minor illnesses and improving feelings of wellbeing. They specialise in supplying and installing all things green - indoor and outdoor plant displays, indoor trees and wall planting, as well as offering a professional maintenance service. They work with corporate clients who expect and are used to a high-quality, professional service.

Job Description:

Due to continued expansion, they currently have a vacancy for a full time Interior Landscape Technician, ideally living a commutable distance from Central London, to join the existing technicians in the area. Your principle responsibility will be to visit multiple clients over 5 days per week checking the installation of existing plant displays, as well as installing new displays on occasion. Occasional travel maybe required to Head Office in Bristol.

Duties will include:

• Watering
• Dusting
• Cleaning
• Pest and disease control
• Trimming and pruning
• Replanting/Plant Replacements
• Ordering materials/plants
• Using the job scheduling app

You will also be expected to ensure that clients are happy with the service provided, and deal with any ad hoc requests.

Key Skills:

Our client is looking for keen and enthusiastic candidates who have a passion for plants and good horticultural knowledge, with a proven experience in interior landscaping.

• It is essential that he/she has excellent customer service/field service skills.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to be flexible regarding duties.
• Candidates should hold a full driving licence and be confident about driving.
• You will generally be working on your own, and reposting to the existing senior technician in London and it is important that you are highly self-motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervision.

The client will provide:

• Company van which can be taken home
• Company fuel cards and credit cards
• Smart phone device for work use
• Company uniform
• All maintenance equipment and sundries

Working hours are Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch.

Holiday entitlement is 20 days plus Bank Holidays, plus 3 for Christmas.
