Interior Designer

Our client is an interior design and engineering firm that excels at producing complete design packages. Their services include architectural design, shopfitting, interior design, surveying, landscaping and structural design internationally.

With offices internationally, their London office currently have two vacancies, one for an Interior Designer (Senior or Midweight) and the other for a Senior FF&E Designer.

The Senior FF&E Interior Designer will provide strong project leadership, with exceptional communication throughout and encourage and promote team spirit and motivation. You will also be overseeing and supporting other designers in the Team. You will need plenty of experience working on larger scale projects, handling suppliers, putting together FF&E schedules and design schemes.

As an Interior Designer you will be working from concept to completion. This will include formulating design ideas and working closely with other team members, sharing your interest in past styles, detailing and antiques, as well as understanding current trends.

Skills and Experience expected from the Interior Designer:

• A minimum of 4 years' of professional experience in high-end residential or hospitality
• Able to produce schedules and specifications
• Exceptional attention to detail and knowledge of materials, finishes & detailing
• Good time-management and organisational skills
• Ability to present design concepts and ideas with confidence and passion
• Ability to deliver conceptual design ideas, bespoke technical designs drawings and FF&E selection
• Experience in AutoCAD, Adobe and InDesign

In return they offer salaries from £36k for the middleweights and from £48k for the seniors plus pension contribution and medical insurance. They work Monday to Thursday in the office with an option to work from home on Friday
