My client is an SME based in the Surrey area who are seeking to hire an Interior Designer for their small but growing team on a permanent basis.

Client Details

The client is a small but growing and very busy Interior design business who services an array of domestic and commercial properties.

Description

The key responsibilities will include but not be limited to-

  • All aspects of a project from the conception, drawing package and installation
  • Required to design bespoke joinery, furniture and kitchen designs
  • Be responsible for creating furniture layouts
  • Be responsible for meeting with the client to determine the concept and executing it flawlessly
  • Be responsible for choosing finishes, fabric etc, and creating a presentation board
  • Required to liaise and supervise external and internal in-house contractors
  • Project manage the project from conception to installation, including the procurement
  • Design and coordinate with suppliers to create bespoke furniture, linen, lighting, etc.

Profile

The successful candidate must-

  • Proficiency in both AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp and freehand drawings
  • Experience in designing bespoke joinery, furniture is essential
  • Have strong FF&E knowledge and be up to date with current design trends
  • Have strong knowledge of the luxury and super luxury FF&E brands
  • Have a good creative flair
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills
  • Have a great eye for details
  • Demonstrate good project management skills
