Interim VAT Manager

My client is a renowned manufacturing company who are looking for an Interim VAT Manager to join their well-established tax function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax compliance and reporting across the company.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will have the opportunity to work alongside the Head of Group Tax as well as other senior members of the finance team. The contract is initially 6-9 Months with the potential to go permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Management of VAT compliance in line with current legislation
• Assist with other accounting and financial projects as needed.
• Assist with preparation and collation of required documentation for VAT audit, liaising with other teams within the company where necessary.
• Assist in review of VAT codes / setups of suppliers and customers

We’re looking to hear from candidates with:

• Qualified by qualification (ACA/CTA/ACCA/ATT) or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a VAT Manager or in a similar role.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
